RIGA, March 19 (LETA) - Public concern about international terrorist threat in Latvia has reduced over the past year, according to the latest poll by SKDS pollster.
When asked whether international terrorism represented a threat to Latvia, 39 percent of respondents gave affirmative answers as compared to 50 percent in a similar poll last year.
At the same time, 46 percent think that Latvia is not exposed to international terrorist threat, up from 37 percent a year ago.
Another 15 percent of respondents chose the answer Hard to Say.
The latest poll was carried out among 1,000 residents of Latvia aged 18-74 years.
